About the role
As the Rostering Coordinator, you are integral to the success of V/Line’s Operational team.
Joining a team of 3, you will support ongoing rostering across volume areas within V/line. You will project future roster alterations.
Key accountabilities include:
- Ensuring multiple rosters across several functions are prepared in accordance with Enterprise Agreement, rostering principles and rail safety.
- Develop rosters for all working groups; across several functions of V/line
- Monitoring and scheduling medicals and ongoing compliance for employees
- Report with accurate roster data daily to payroll along with timesheet processing and accuracy.
Day of operations shift coverages for all workgroups
About you
Comfortable in a collaborative environment, you will hold an intermediate level of MS Office applications with the ability to manage multiple tasks at a time. Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-manage and prioritise tasks daily.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or Management
- Recent Rostering experience within an EA (Enterprise Agreement) operational environment
- 5 days onsite required, Mon-Fri between 0700-1900

Remuneration for this position will be in line with the V/Line Rail Operations and Administrative Employees Agreement 2023 or Asset Management Enterprise Agreement 2023
