About our role:
At WGA we are always striving to be at the forefront of the ongoing development of digital technology and delivery design engineering. We have developed an exciting role for an experienced Digital Engineering Manager who will report to our Group Technical Manager and provide guidance to our overall digital strategy by combining our industry expertise, practical focus and team first approach with a strong market understanding of digital technology processes and advancements. This position will support our delivery processes across projects in all of our major sectors.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a National or Regional Digital strategic and mentoring role within the design, engineering and advisory field
  • Ability to develop, implement and communicate a Digital Engineering strategy as unique as WGA is, focussing upon enabling innovative, efficient and high quality solutions for both our Clients and people through the integration of digital technologies.
  • Capacity to further develop WGA's Australian and New Zealand expertise in digital Engineering by collaborating with our major project delivery teams.
  • Proven experience coordinating multi-disciplined teams across a range of engineering design projects.
  • Relevant Engineering/Design Qualifications alongside years of experience within a Consultancy, Contractor or Advisory organisation
  • A strong and broad understanding of modern design and documentation software platform integration and how they can most effectively work together to deliver state of the art results in a project environment.
  • Ability to develop and facilitate an internal training and development framework in relation to software and digital engineering with the aim of further developing and connecting our fantastic design personnel.
