About our Role:
In accordance with our long term strategy focussing on sustainable growth in key areas, we are looking to expand the team with the addition of an experienced Mechanical Designer.
With a focus on delivering high engineering design standards this role will directly report to and support the Regional Managers and National Mechanical Engineering division to continue to grow our design delivery capabilities within the Industrial sector.

About you:
  • Proven exposure to 3D modelling using Bentley products including MicroStation and AECOsim
  • Materials handling plant and equipment (Ore transport & minerals processing plant) design experience
  • Exposure to mechanical equipment such as drives, conveyors, plant and fire services and dust control systems
  • Piping systems including tanks, pumps and valves
  • Familiarity with BHP and Rio Tinto CAD Conform requirements, which is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards, Regulations, Codes and familiarity with the Western Australian resources industry
  • Strong communication skills, a keen problem-solving ability, a ‘can do’ attitude and good self-motivation
