Who we are looking for
We're looking for someone to assist in the forward planning, development, and implementation of specific technical projects for water supply and sewerage services, and to support town planning and growth strategies.
We have an ongoing full-time position for an Asset Planning Project Coordinator based in our Warrnambool office. This position comes with a salary of $70,953.80 to $93,801.15 p.a. plus superannuation.
Job Description
What you'll be doing
On a day-to-day basis, you'll:
- Assist in the development of a more integrated approach to water planning
- Identify, develop and implement integrated water management proposals
- Undertake all the required activities for the preparation, administration and monitoring of projects
- Provide information and advice to customers, public authorities, consultants and Wannon Water employees
- Undertake investigation, estimation, and support the implementation of works to provide water and sewerage services.
Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll bring
We're looking for someone with:
- A diploma / degree in engineering, a relevant science or relevant tertiary qualification or at least two years of relevant experience in project management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Excel and Word is essential
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- A proven team-oriented approach to work, with the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
- Effective time management and prioritisation skills with the demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities and manage multiple deadlines.
