Who we are looking for

We have a two-year, full-time contract position for a Quality Management Systems Project Officer, based in Warrnambool. This position comes with a generous salary of $86,275 to $93,801 p.a. plus superannuation.

We're looking for someone to support the implementation of our integrated management system, assist in the development of standards and to help streamline our processes.

What you'll be doing

On a day-to-day basis, you'll be:

  • Working with safety, environment and quality specialists to develop standards and procedures for our certified management system and gain executive approval.
  • Ensuring our procedures support compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Developing improvement plans and working with teams to implement standards.
  • Considering opportunities to reduce the number of documents maintained in our document control system.
  • Increasing the level of integration of our management systems with our products and services.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone with:

  • Analytical and investigative skills.
  • The ability to engage different user groups to implement improvements to systems and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A working knowledge of integrated management systems (either safety, quality or environment), risk management practices and frameworks.
  • The ability to interpret legislation and Australian Standards.
  • Well-developed computer skills in a range of business applications.
  • The position requires skill in applying theory to find solutions for new challenges and opportunities.
