About the role:

Based in Leederville, we have a fixed term position available until 30th June 2023, with the possibility of being extended up to 3 years.
In this position, you will fill a crucial administration and project support role within a small team of subject matter specialists who deliver customer facing sustainability / water efficiency projects. You will be working closely within a team to support the design, delivery and evaluation a range of strategic projects and initiatives, communicating sustainability and/or water efficiency knowledge to internal and external stakeholders.
What the role will involve:
- Provide administrative support to the Demand Programs – Metro (and other teams within the Demand Delivery section) in the delivery of water efficiency projects to customers.
- Participate in the development, delivery, and evaluation of effective water efficiency projects to Water Corporation’s customers.
- Assist in the preparation and reporting of project progress through the use project management tools such as engagement plans, issues registers, budget tracking spreadsheets and similar.
- Process customer registrations and associated administrative requirements such as allocation to vendors, notifications to vendors and customers, reporting on work completed.
- Assisting in the processing of procurement requirements such as setting up of Purchase orders and reviewing invoices.
- Monitor the program email inboxes and appropriately respond to customer registrations and queries.
- Review, develop and maintain project and water efficiency content on the Water Corporation intranet, external website and related communication tools such as Guru.
Key skills and experience:
- Relevant experience in providing business administration and support services in a large multi-disciplined customer focussed service delivery organisation.
- Has well developed knowledge of administration and business support systems and processes.
- Demonstrates well developed computing skills, including use Microsoft suite of systems (MS Excel and Outlook in particular) and can demonstrate the capability to learn and apply the Water Corporation’s suite of business and technical computing applications.
- Understands customer engagement process, and key methods and strategies that may be applied to deliver positive customer and project outcomes.
- Well-developed time management and planning and organisational skills.
