About the role:
We have a permanent opportunity based at the Kwinana Wastewater Treatment Plant The successful applicant will be responsible to operate and coordinate treatment processes, for the Wastewater Treatment scheme, in a safe and efficient way and within prescribed guidelines, including plant monitoring, investigation, fault reporting, data collection and some laboratory analysis of samples.
What the role will involve:
- Operate and trouble shoot wastewater processes and assets
- Collect wastewater and analyse samples
- Isolate and clean assets
- Optimize the wastewater treatment processes
- Enter and manage data in various systems
Key skills and experience:
- Trades certificate, Certificate II, III or IV or Diploma in related field
- Certificate in sampling analysis, waste management
- C Class driver’s license
- Expert knowledge in sampling and analysis
- Ability to troubleshoot wastewater related issues
- Experience with reverse osmosis - desirable
- A background in water treatment, mining or plumbing
- Experience in using process control programs, i.e ClearSCADA, Citect
