About the role:
We currently have 2 x UX specialist (Permanent and 12 months Maximum term) opportunities available within our Digital Product Delivery space. The purpose of both roles are to support leaders to influence behaviours enterprise-wide to focus delivery on a holistic view of customer across experiences. You will be passionate about what matters most to customers and responsible for designing, delivering and optimising end-to-end user experience across digital products. This includes setting up processes and collaborating with project teams to design and deliver our digital products and channels in line with the Corporations strategies and objectives.
Both these roles are full-time roles, where you’ll be in a position to enjoy flexible working arrangements. You can join teams in our Leederville and Balcatta offices as well as have the ability to work from home, which means you’ll have more time for the important things in life. No explanations required.

What the role will involve:
- You will co-design with cross-functional teams to drive incremental value for the customer as part of an omni-channel experience
- You will deliver required digital experience outcomes arising from the organisation’s CX, digital, channel, content and customer technology strategies.
- Deliver and collaborate on user research and usability testing to understand customer behaviour, refine design approaches, and validate solutions.
- Manage and set online user experience standards for consistency aligned to the Corporations’ strategic objectives and industry best practices
- Manage and maintain the corporation’s design system and pattern library alongside our user interface designer.
- Provide guidance for the digital product owner/s and product manager which allows the product to provide value based on best practice user experience.
- Support team scalability through knowledge base management and continually improving the design process.
- You will facilitate design thinking workshops with the project team and business subject matter experts to identify issues, solutions and to synthesise requirements.
- Work alongside Business and Systems Analysts and vendors to understand system structure, capabilities and constraints to design viable concepts and designs.
Key skills and experience:
- Tertiary level qualification in a relevant and related discipline.
- Relevant UX design experience across complex web, portal and mobile experience projects.
- Demonstrated experience with design and prototyping tools to create a wide variety of deliverables, including flow maps, wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering successful digital customer experience projects and initiatives.
- Awareness of digital strategy in support of business objectives and customer requirements.
- Solid understanding of design thinking and agile development processes and methodologies with a strong focus on human centred design, ideally in a large and complex organisation.
- Proficiency in workshop planning and facilitation
- Understanding of web accessibility including WCAG 2.1 standards
