Benefits of working with Water Corporation:
- Base salary of $73,548 plus 10.5% Superannuation
- In addition, you contribute 3% to your Super and we will contribute an extra 2%, totalling 15.5%
- Location allowance paid fortnightly as an allowance ($12,865 per year)

About the role:
Based in picturesque Karratha, we have a permanent opportunity for a confident and experienced Support Officer – Information Systems. You will be working in supportive team of 12 members who are always willing to help and show you the ropes.
This role is responsible for the accurate capture of data for employee overtime/allowances and field-based work order information for the purposes of payroll, cost allocation and compliance with regulatory and operational standards. This includes reporting, data entry & analysis, maintaining regional documentation and supporting the payroll processing for field staff.
What the role will involve:
- Provide advice and information on payroll and related matters, interpretation and application of conditions of employment and adjustment of increments and allowances
- Run and analyse reports from Corporate Systems (SAP) to ensure accuracy of payroll
- Provide advice and support to employees regarding HR processes and systems, and completion of timesheets and pay claims
- Liaise with Payroll regarding employee pay related queries
- General business services support
Key skills and experience:
- You will need Certificate III in Business (or similar qualification) OR relevant experience in providing technical and support services in an infrastructure-based organisation
- Relevant experience in the use of corporate information systems such as SAP
- Experience in payroll and relevant experience in the analysis and interpretation of data
- Data analysis experience
- Ability to organise and prioritise workloads within deadlines
- Able to positively participate as a member of a forward thinking team
