About the role
We have a 12 month opportunity within out IT Project Management team for a Project Coordinator . Support our Project Managers by coordinating the execution of tasks within large and complex projects. You’ll be involved in project, reporting, leading work packages within projects and purchase order only projects to ensure the delivery of business capabilities. Based in our Leederville office, this role will report to the Manager, IT Project Management.
What the role will involve
- Coordinate and assist in creating and reviewing of schedules, dependencies, resource, costs, risks, and issues to ensure accurate delivery and reporting of projects
- In collaboration with the Commercial Team, coordinate the necessary procurement activities and contractual documents
- Support the Portfolio Directors and (Senior) Project Managers to manage portfolio level risks and eliminate blockers
- Monitor and maintain relevant controls, identify risks and work with the Manager of Project Management to create the Project Management Centre of Excellence and ensure succesful operational delivery within the Project Management team
- Assist with the engagement with key contractors, consultants, suppliers and other nominated stakeholders critical to supporting the delivery of our projects
- Make recommendations and create working instructions for continuous improvement to current practices, processes, methodologies and system applications
Key skills and experience
You’ll have demonstrated project experience in a similar role, or a degree in IT, Project Management, or equivalent. Knowledge of document management, project management along with your excellent communication, analytical skills, demonstrated ability to collaborate with key external and internal stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
