About the role:
We are seeking an experienced analyst to join our Strategic Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Water Corporation’s key models for revenue budgeting and regulated pricing. You will use your Excel skills to support the preparation of information for submissions for Government and implement approved decisions. This role will be based in our Leederville office.
What the role will offer:
- Supporting the maintenance and development of revenue and regulated pricing models to formulate revenue budgets and scenarios.
- Assisting to prepare the Corporation’s annual pricing submission and support the business to implement Government approved prices.
- Supporting the review and implementation of tariff reforms and miscellaneous fees and charges by: engaging key business stakeholders, undertaking detailed customer impact analysis using customer data, and assisting to prepare submissions seeking support and approval of reforms.
- Providing pricing and economic advice to internal and external stakeholders.
Key skills and experience:
- A degree level qualification in economics, accounting, finance or in a relevant discipline.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Strong business modelling skills and the ability to manage and develop models using Excel.
- Experience using PowerBi and corporate information systems, such as SAP is desirable.
- An ability to manage a range of projects to a high level of detail within strict deadlines.
