Commitment to protecting our vital resource
Do you have a passion to make a significant contribution to a circular economy? As the Manager of Subiaco Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), you’ll play a huge part in running advanced processes that turns used water and treatment by-products into valuable sustainable resources.
At Water Corporation, you’ll be helping us protect Western Australia’s water future. You’ll work alongside people who are deeply committed to reducing our impact on the environment, addressing climate change, and protecting our natural resources for future generations.
Your next career move.
As the Manager – Plant Operations, you’ll be in charge of running and maintaining a treatment facility of highly-complex biological processes that treats water for irrigational re-use and produces a soil ameliorant for spreading in agricultural. In addition, you’ll oversee the operations of our Water Research and Innovation Precinct, working with private industries in R&D projects to put Western Australia as a leader in sustainability initiatives.
Every day is different. You’ll be leading an effective on-site team of mechanical, electrical, and civil staff and supported by engineers that are committed to continually improving and developing their capabilities through mentoring, coaching and business planning.
Your team is responsible for regularly testing, monitoring, and optimising, ensuring the recovery products meet the requirements of our processes and our customers.

In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, be the change you want to see

You have substantial experience of complex processing treatments, operations, and management of a similar processing facility. Alternatively, you might be from a Mining processing background.
Ideally, you’ll have a degree in Civil, Chemical, Environmental, or another relevant discipline. However, in this important role, it is your experience in leading field-based teams and your experience in maintaining relationships and influencing key external stakeholders with DWER, DOH and DMIRS as well as internal stakeholders that will equip you.
