We have a permanent opportunity for a Manager Spatial Solutions to join our wider Data & Analytics team. Lead our approach and ongoing management of spatial products & solutions including analytics, mapping and cartography services across a complex ecosystem. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a holistic view of spatial products & solutions by creating and maintaining the catalogue to optimise the use for cross-business purposes. This role is based in Leederville reporting to the Manager Spatial Intelligence.

What the role will involve
Lead and manage a technical team of geospatial specialists to deliver and maintain enterprise wide, production grade spatial solutions, analytics, mapping and cartographic services
Provide leadership and advisory services to a wide variety of Spatial products/solutions such as GIS enterprise deployment, network utility, spatial asset management, spatial data products, and mobile GIS
Lead the planning, scheduling, delivery, risk management and support process for production grade spatial solutions
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team within subject matter expertise and innovation through the introduction of new technology
Identify, align and implement emerging trends, methods and practises in spatial solutions
Monitor and maintain relevant controls, identify and mitigate risks to maintain operational delivery relating to spatial solutions
Key skills and experience
You’ll have a degree in Geospatial Information Systems, Information management, or related discipline, along with substantial experience developing and delivering data and products utilising cloud based environments, and GIS tooling (ESRI, GE Smallworld). Knowledge of complex data environments including 3rd party data workflows and downstream processes is highly desirable. Your demonstrated leadership, and previous team management, and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both internally and externally will ensure success in this role.
