As an Engineer Operational Technology Maintenance , you’ll support Water Corporation’s expansive Operations Technology (OT) infrastructure as a part of an engineering team, ensuring we meet business objectives and service level agreements.

You will monitor system performance of critical OT infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability in addition to performing preventative maintenance and OT system upgrades.

We require you to have the ability to occasionally work from regional or remote locations, and on a roster schedule (including evenings and weekends) providing 24/7 OT maintenance support. You will also be required to hold a current valid Western Australian driver’s licence.

What the role will involve

    Configure and install various Operations Technology OT devices and services (PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA, Instrumentation)

      Undertake corrective maintenance and breakdown work (during and outside normal working hours)

        Undertake condition monitoring of the Operations Technology OT systems and communications equipment/links and preventative maintenance activities

          Investigate Water Corporation Operational Technology OT system failures, determine nature and extent of problem, and recommend solutions

            Undertake minor works and configuration changes

              Undertake and coordinate investigations, conceptual analysis for assessment, development and remedial works of Operational Technology OT and control system assets

                Maintain comprehensive records, tracking work activity, work order details and time spent on undertaking work

                Key skills and experience

                You’ll have a degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering, or a trade background with considerable experience supporting OT systems technologies, products and platforms knowledge. Your ability to collaborate with our stakeholders to undertake maintenance activities across large networks, and an understanding of commissioning of instrumentation and control systems will ensure success in this role.
