As a Business Applications Analyst you’ll use your highly developed interpersonal and rapport building skills in consulting and negotiating, acting as a technical specialist and business systems expert. Use your application knowledge and skills providing operational processing, higher level administration, development, learning and analysis to support the delivery of effective and efficient use of the Water Corporation’s Business Applications.

What the role will involve
Analyse and define complex business process and stakeholder needs and translate into application requirements and designs
Prepare written analysis, including recommendations and conclusions, of complex application’s performance, change and improvement
Critically accept, assess, prioritise and investigate business application change requests
Configure and/or coordinate development, test, and document approved application changes
Investigate application issues and coordinate resolution of incidents and management of problems through ITIL practices
Engage with IT projects as a technical specialist and ensure effective transition to support of resulting applications
Work collaboratively with Business Relationships Section and act as the primary contact for technical queries
Key skills and experience
You have qualifications in Business Information Systems, Information Management, Computer Science, or a relevant discipline, along with substantial experience in the implementation and delivery of one or more Business Applications support functions. Experience with the support of Service Now, JIRA, Salesforce and SAP software and solutions is desirable, along with an understanding of IT Infrastructure Library practices will ensure success in this role.
