About the role

We have two permanent opportunities across both metropolitan and regional portfolios to join our Asset Planning & Delivery Group:

  • Manager Assets - Metropolitan Source, Treatment and Recovery
  • Manager Assets - Mid West Region and Goldfields and Agricultural Region

You’ll lead and manage your team in the delivery of asset investment planning and effective products to our asset service providers, achieving organisational requirements and benefits to the Water Corporation. The roles are based in our Leederville office and will report to the Head of Asset Investment Planning.

What the role will involve

As a member of the Asset Investment Planning leadership team, you will contribute to business operations and be responsible for delivering first class outcomes to our customers and stakeholders throughout Western Australia. In this role you’ll provide leadership and management of the development of our capital and operating programs, translating asset strategies into asset management investment objectives, in doing so achieving balance between cost, risk, and level of service, delivering minimum whole of life cost for Water Corporation’s assets.

Key skills and experience

You’ll have a degree or tertiary level qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline, along with extensive experience translating asset strategies into asset investment plans. We also will require considerable experience in planning, design, acquisition or operational delivery of asset investments. Your demonstrated leadership, team management, and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
