About the role

We have a permanent opportunity for a Principal Strategic Programs joining our Future Water Solutions team. You’ll lead and deliver strategic projects and programs across the business working with senior internal & external stakeholders. The role will be based in our Leederville office and will report to our Senior Principal Strategic Programs.

What the role will involve

    Be part of the newly formed Future Water Solutions to guide the business with long term plans to evolve the water service provision into the future

      Manage and deliver complex executive programs and projects to address long term risks to the provision of water services

        Manage and deliver complex strategic programs and projects to develop plans with emerging opportunities to the provision of existing or new water services

          Manage and deliver trials of new servicing solutions to determine viability and requirements for operationalisation

            Collaborate with other State agencies and the community to identify customer needs, priorities, preferred solutions, and design relevant program objectives and scope

              Monitor and review program and project progress, providing performance reports to management, executive, the board and other relevant stakeholders

              Key skills and experience

              You’ll have a degree level qualification in engineering, project management or relevant discipline, along with substantial experience planning, design, delivery or operational delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure assets. You’ll have substantial knowledge of the challenges and opportunities faced by the water industry through climate change, resource recovery & reuse as well as community expectation.

              You’ll have experience in analysing existing and proposed infrastructure systems to evaluate engineering and economic effectiveness. Your demonstrated leadership, and ability to collaborate, negotiate and influence both senior internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
