About the role:


We have an exciting opportunity for Facilities Project Officer to join our team on a permanent basis. This role supports the Facilities Management team by contributing to government activities, projects compliance analysis and reporting.

With your proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships, you will be ensuring reporting and compliance records are maintained and key stakeholders are kept informed and engaged at all stages of the process.

What the role will involve:

    Collate and update data for all Facilities project analysis reports including cost savings, procurement, cashflow and contractor management to ensure efficient management of the Program and meet KPI reporting requirements.

      Coordinate procurement sourcing with Facilities project managers and review sourcing requisitions as per procurement guideline, Capitalisation standards, asset creation and settlement requirements.

        Assist with investigations, disputes and collaborate with suppliers and goods/service recipient.

          Coordinate external supplier claim or contract issues and manage stakeholders.

            Manage and consult with the finance team to ensure asset creation, settlement and closeout changes are updated and reflected in the corporate asset register and depreciation schedules.

              Co-ordinate and maintain working drawing of all assets under management to meet auditing requirements.

                Record and monitor all incoming correspondence and address project related communication to ensure processes are completed which are essential for project and auditing compliance.

                Key skills and experience:

                Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be important in this role.

                You are analytical and have a good understanding of project management principles and processes, along with experience in providing a broad range of business, financial and project support.

                You will have the capability to communicate at all levels, drive and influence others. You will have excellent problem-solving skills, learn concepts quickly and able to work well under pressure.
