    Commencing salary of $109,000 plus 15% co contributory Superannuation

      17.5% loading on 20 days leave plus extra 3 days per year

          About the role

          As you will be a hands-on Team Leader within the trades field, you will be influential in leading, developing and motivating a crew of 6 tradespeople and 1 apprentice in Bunbury.Your expertise in engaging with stakeholders and the team, will contribute greatly to the success in providing safe drinking water and wastewater services for the Bunbury and surrounding areas.

          Reporting directly to the Operations Manager Service Delivery and with the supportive assistance of a crew of fellow Team Leaders’, you will be leading the Electrical Trades team in delivering the teams day to day resource/workload management in relation to the resource requirements for the districts provision of maintenance to water, wastewater treatment and conveyance services within the district in accordance with regulatory and corporate requirements.

          You will be demonstrating safety leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.

          Key skills and experience

          • Trades qualification in either the Electrical (preferred) or Mechanical area or Cert III in Water Operations
          • Completion or progress toward obtaining Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent
          • Leadership experience
          • Demonstrated commitment to OSH procedures
          • WA “C” Class Drivers Licence
          • Available for overtime and call-out emergencies
