About the role

The Data Platforms and Process Automation (DPPA) Applications Support team within the Enterprise Applications Section has a vacancy for a Support Analyst – Business Applications.

Reporting to the Manager – Business Applications and working closely with Systems Analysts across the whole section, the Support Analyst will provide admin support for our Enterprise Applications portfolio.

This is an extremely busy role with an ongoing backlog. The preferred candidate would be confident in planning and prioritising customer requests. Thus, confidence in planning activities, and managing stakeholder expectations against these plans, is a core competency of this role.

This is a fixed term, full-time role until March 2024. You’ll also experience a flexible approach to working, which means you can avoid the daily carparks on the freeway - or do the school run more often. If you like your extended weekends, try out a 9-day fortnight instead.

About you

  • A background in IT, for example IT helpdesk, technology management, development or admin experience in an IT environment. This is a great step on your career to bigger and better IT things.
  • Qualification or Certification in IT
  • Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills
  • Well-developed prioritisation and planning skills
  • If you’ve worked with Microsoft Power Platform, Jira, Sharepoint or ERP or EAM then even better!

About the role:

  • Providing triage capabilities and level 1.5 support for our customer request ticket queue
  • User provisioning across our application stack
  • High level requirements gathering for customer requests
  • Maintenance of Quick Reference Sheets for Corporate systems
  • Co-ordinating administration of Vulnerability Management activities and reporting to our Cyber team
  • Undertaking testing activities for project and minor work deliveries
