What you’ll do:

  • Program Management: Lead the development, planning and delivery of People Safety & Culture programs and related resources, to ensure they are delivered on-time, on-budget and to quality standards throughout its life cycle.
  • Culture Change: Develop, implement, and monitor cultural change initiatives and projects to support WaterNSW’s people and safety strategies.
  • Safety programs: Develop, implement, and monitor safety projects and continuous improvement initiatives to improve WaterNSW’s WHS performance and promote a generative safety culture.
  • People: Implement continuous improvement and training programs to uplift the performance and capability of the Safety, People & Culture team and improve talent acquisition.
  • Change: Use change management strategies to ensure successful implementation of People Safety and Culture projects.
  • Safety: ensure all activities are undertaken with the safety of everyone as the number one priority and always role model safe behaviour.

What we are looking for:

  • Qualifications in Program or Project management or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated project management experience and ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities.
  • Deep knowledge of program and project management methodology
  • Knowledge and awareness of change management methodology
  • Experience in managing people and resources and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders to influence the achievement of set objectives.
  • Proven experience negotiating and influencing the achievement of strategic outcomes with the ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders in difficult situations.
  • Proven experience working in a diverse environment and ability to act with respect, professionalism, and integrity in all professional interactions.
