Location: Parramatta (preferred), also open to considering having the preferred candidate based in our Hunter Hub, Nepean Dam, Albury, Dubbo or Tamworth offices
Salary: Starting from $95,764 base + super
Tenure: Full-Time, 12-Month Max Term
What we are looking for:

A strong desire to contribute your skills and expertise to our business

Someone who is of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander decent / identifies as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and is accepted as such by the community in which they were born, has lived or currently lives

A commitment to promoting and preserving Aboriginal culture and value

WHS tertiary qualification (i.e. Cert III or Cert IV) or equivalent
-
Knowledge and awareness of WHS legislation, codes of practice, processes and procedures
-
Understanding of safety management systems and assurance, risk assessment and hazard management practices in an operational environment
-
Well-developed communications and stakeholder engagement skills with a passion for learning and delivering business outcomes
- Good to Have: Experience working in a Workplace Health and Safety capacity as Coordinator or Administrator; and/or driving continuous improvement WHS initiatives and project delivery
WaterNSW operates the state’s dams, capturing and storing water, and then supplying it ready for distribution – for the environment, agriculture, industry and the community. With 41 major dams and hundreds of waterways across the state, we play a vital role at the source of the state’s water, delivering two thirds of all water used in NSW.
