What you’ll do:
- Deliver on-site education programmes for pre-school, primary, secondary, and tertiary students.
- Plan and deliver excursions, including daily safety walks and coordination with the maintenance team to avoid conflicts with student tours.
- Set up and deliver learning activities (classroom-based and dam tours), including safety inductions for teachers and student supervision.
- Manage daily programme flow (typically 9:30am–1:30pm delivery window), student grouping, breaks, and wrap-up.
- Complete reporting and administrative tasks, prepare for upcoming programmes, and participate in meetings.
- Maintain a school feedback loop to continuously improve programme quality.
What we are looking for:
- Experience in formal or informal education, teaching, outdoor education, museums, science centres, local council education programmes, parks or field officer roles.
- Strong capability in delivering and designing education experiences, tours, and learning resources.
- Experience in outdoor work, risk management, and student supervision.
- First Nations community connection or community volunteer experience is highly desirable.
