What you’ll do:

  • Support the development and implementation of technical and engineering solutions under the direction of senior project staff.
  • Provide timely technical input, reporting, and recommendations to assist with risk mitigation, environmental management, and project goals.
  • Contribute to the preparation of clear project specifications and documentation, facilitating effective engagement with consultants and contractors.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and design teams to ensure alignment with project objectives, technical standards, and environmental assessments.
  • Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with scope, specifications, and quality standards, and assist with commissioning, testing, and handover processes.


What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher tertiary institution in Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar), or demonstrated equivalent relevant experience.
  • Experience in executing and overseeing site activities for multidisciplinary infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with technical and safety standards.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders to assess, resolve, and implement technical solutions on-site.
  • Ability to identify and address technical challenges by evaluating and supporting the implementation of appropriate solutions
  • Experience interpreting and applying technical specifications, reviewing engineering designs and drawings, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in construction and site operations.
  • Knowledge of assets relevant to WaterNSW core asset base such as dams, water regulating structures, bridges roads, canals, embankments, buildings and cranes etc.
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.
