  • Work closely with stakeholders and SMEs to capture, define and document business requirements, user stories and future-state processes that enable successful digital delivery.
  • Lead discussions to challenge thinking, resolve differing viewpoints and build consensus, ensuring outcomes are practical, aligned and achievable.
  • Stay engaged across the full delivery lifecycle—clarifying requirements, supporting solution design, developing test cases, and enabling smooth transition into production.

  • You’ve worked on digital or technology-enabled change initiatives, understanding the people, process and system impacts of transformation at scale.
  • Proven ability to build relationships, influence without authority and navigate differing viewpoints to achieve alignment across SMEs, project teams and leaders.
  • Able to lead workshops, ask the right questions, apply structured problem-solving (e.g. root cause analysis), and guide groups toward practical, outcome-focused solutions.

At WaterNSW, we balance flexibility – and the way we work – with the needs of the business, our teams, and us as individuals.

When it comes to working in an office, we work in a hybrid way. If you’re required to be in the field or on site, the benefits of flexibility can be achieved in other ways, such as through a condensed work week.
