Join our team as an Inventory Coordinator on a fixed-term contract and play a vital role in managing a diverse portfolio of materials within our dynamic Supply Chain. In this exciting position, you'll be responsible for running planning and replenishment models to maintain optimal inventory levels, ensuring we exceed customer expectations on material availability—all while keeping stock holdings and costs to a minimum.

Your Role in Action

  • Manage a supplier portfolio valued up to $20M, covering 100-1,000 SKUs.
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet service and cost targets for Works Programs, Projects, and external sales.
  • Oversee supplier performance to ensure monthly KPIs are met.
  • Act as the key contact in short-stock situations, managing expectations, prioritizing demand, and ensuring timely communication.
  • Update system with key supply data from inventory suppliers.
  • Manage cataloguing and organization of stock items.
  • Monitor SKUs to minimize product loss due to obsolescence or excess stock write-offs.
  • Place inventory purchase orders based on system replenishment parameters and monitor replenishment processes to comply with policies.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Relevant industry experience in an inventory/materials management or purchasing role
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining good working relationships
  • Solid communication, writing and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to set work priorities and meet deadlines
  • Relevant diploma / degree or progression towards tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related discipline
  • Exposure to APICS, CIPSA or similar inventory management disciplines
