Due to departmental redesign we have a new and exciting opportunity for an innovative Talent Acquisition Manager to lead and manage our national talent acquisition function both at a strategic and operational level.
As a key HR leadership role, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate broad experience with the design and execution of internal recruitment programs and will actively work with all stakeholders to establish this strategy.
In addition to partnering with business leaders and the wider HR team to understand their requirements, the Talent Acquisition Manager will provide influence and consultation on talent acquisition strategies, priority pipelines, challenges, and solutions.
We are looking for a passionate hands-on people leader who has proven ability to actively champion and develop the growing recruitment team along with exceptional stakeholder management skills and commitment to exceptional service.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Commerce, or behavioural sciences
- Extensive experience and proven success leading a full life cycle internal talent acquisition function
- Strong leadership skills, with expertise in coaching and developing Recruitment practitioners at all levels
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with the ability recognise opportunities for continuous improvement, and provide strategic recruitment, reporting and workforce advice
- Possess strong HR data analytical skills, Budgeting and planning experience
- Exceptional organisation and project management skills, to be able to forecast and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated and broad experience with the design and execution of talent acquisition programs. Must be comfortable challenging the norm and accepted thinking to improve effectiveness
- A continuous improvement focus, to build on the status quo actively, to best position the function for future challenges
