We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Risk and Resilience Specialist at Perth Head Office on a Permanent basis.
About this role
As the Senior Risk and Resilience Specialist you will be required to:
- Provide strategic advice for the effective management of enterprise risk management and resilience across Western Power, including consultation with Heads of Function, Area Managers and Function groups to establish and review key risk exposures.
- Provide strategic direction and commercial advice in relation to large critical projects undertaken by the business where Enterprise Risk & Resilience performs a supporting role.
- Development of risk processes, including key reporting to Board and Audit and Risk Committee.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior executive and management teams in relation to risk exposures and appropriate management strategies.
- Provide advice and guidance to senior executive and management teams in relation to resilience.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing review of the enterprise risk management and resilience frameworks and associated processes.
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to the Enterprise Risk & Resilience area to further enhance effective management of enterprise risk and resilience.
- Contribute to successful outcomes in relation to projects where Enterprise Risk & Resilience provides a supporting role.
- Support and assist Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager in the development and implementation of risk management and resilience initiatives, as required.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Providing advice and guidance to senior executive and management teams in relation to risk exposures and appropriate management strategies.
- Providing advice and guidance to senior executive and management teams in relation to resilience.
- Leading the implementation and ongoing review of the enterprise risk management and resilience frameworks and associated processes.
- Providing strategic advice and guidance to the Enterprise Risk & Resilience area to ensure effective management of enterprise risk and resilience.
- Contributing to successful outcomes in relation to projects where Enterprise Risk & Resilience provides a supporting role.
- Supporting and assisting the Enterprise Risk & Resilience Manager in the development and implementation of risk management and resilience initiatives, as required.
