We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Panel & Supplier Contract Management Specialist at Perth Head Office, on a Permanent Full-Time basis. We are looking for an individual with exceptional stakeholder management and communications skills with previous demonstrated experience in supplier and contracts management.
About this role
This role is accountable for providing subject matter technical expertise, advice and guidance in the establishment and management of panels and all relevant suppliers engaged by Western Power.
This is a strategic role focusing on enterprise level supplier relationship and performance management and providing the point of contact for the supplier and the link between the contract delivery areas and the core Procurement Areas.
Activities will also include panel set up and Panel Contract (Deed) management activities in the Supplier Lifecycle Management phase of the Contract Lifecycle Management Framework (CLMF).
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Strong influencing, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer and results focused mindset
- Degree qualified in Procurement, Contract, Business, Finance and/or related discipline and/or suitable demonstrated experience.
- Broad and extensive knowledge and expertise in establishing and managing and executing fit for purpose Panel Contracts
- Strong negotiation skills on high value transactions.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to utilise financial expertise to review and assess financial & pricing models
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance management and its application with respect to procurement
- Advanced knowledge and experience in Contract Law, Construction Law, Australian Consumer Law and related legislation and regulations
- Good understanding of Australian Standard suite of contracts (including construction and supply, delivery, and installation of equipment of goods) and general services type agreements.
