We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Workforce Specialist at Perth Head Office, on a Permanent Full-Time basis.
About this role
As the Senior Workforce Specialist, you will be required to:
To lead the development and implementation of proactive Health, Safety, Environment, Quality and Training programs, providing insight and raising awareness to topical psychological risks in order to support the business in delivering great safety, health, environment and quality performance through effective engagement with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and/or facilitate development of mental health awareness campaigns that specifically target identified areas of psychological risk.
- Engage and Support internal customers following critical incidents to ensure the wellbeing of employees.
- Provide injury management support to employees and leaders specific to mental health cases.
- Influence improvements to work designs, work practices and other psychosocial hazards to improve the performance of our workforce.
- Analyse workforce and network incident data and identify psychological trends, leading to opportunities to improve workforce safety, occupational health issue, environmental performance and public safety.
- Provide subject matter expertise to Senior Management and internal stakeholders on all matters involving mental health.
- Provide training and education to all levels of employees across the business on mental health awareness and psychological risk.
- Assist with the management of the Employee Assistance Program to ensure best practice.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Bachelor’s degree qualification in Psychology and 5+ year relevant work experience.
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Strong communication, analytical and report writing skills,
- Demonstrated ability in strategy planning,
- Demonstrated effective people management and leadership skills and experience.
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong working relationships at all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to prioritise work and critically assess own performance.
- Knowledge of psychological regulatory requirements, including psychosocial hazards.
