We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Creative Production Specialist at the Perth CBD Office, on a Full-time Permanent basis.
About this role
As the Creative Production Specialist, you will be responsible for creating visually engaging animations, videos and motion graphics that captivate audiences. You will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity, technical expertise and innovative ideas to deliver high-quality motion graphics across various platforms and mediums. As an expert in your field, you will be advising on and supporting digital communications and brand and marketing activities relating to creative production outcomes for the organisation in line with overall business requirements.
- Create and publish high quality visual and multimedia content (creative production) for Western Power’s marketing and communications activities that meet business objectives and timeframes.
- Create engaging animations using 2D, 3D and motion design techniques that’s in line with Western Powers Brand style guide
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to produce animation work to ensure consistency of artistic integrity and quality of assets
- In response to creative briefs, develop initial animation concepts, maintaining stylistic consistency and work to bring art from the mock-up phase to final production
- Develop and manage the delivery of Western Power’s multimedia production schedule including photography, animation, and video material, ensuring availability to the wider business.
- Develop, manage, and enhance Western Power’s brand and design management practices, processes, and tools in relation to visual content, including contributing visual assets for the style guides and templates.
- Upon request, provide backup support for the delivery of graphic design and visual branding projects in consultation with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Demonstrate continuous improvement, performance reporting and innovation of work practices in order to extend Western Power’s visual presence and influence on digital platforms.
- Act as representative for the organisation at Western Power events when required, and do other duties as required from time to time, including as part of Western Power’s Emergency Management Team (EMT) activities.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, digital or communications or related field such as public relations or journalism.
- Knowledge and experience of at least 5 years in the development and implementation of content and/or communication strategies.
- Experience of utilising online and digital channels to achieve marketing and/or communications objectives.
- Experience using video and DSLR cameras to capture engaging multimedia content
- Proficiency in key Adobe Creative Suite applications, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro and InDesign
- Experience of managing budgets associated with marketing/communications activities.
- Knowledge of website Content Management Systems
- Experience of working with advertising, media, design, and research agencies.
