About this role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Line & Cable trade Assistant at our Jandakot Prinsep Road Depot on a 12-month maximum term contract basis.
As a Line & Cable Trades Assistant you will be required to provide ‘multi-skilled’ non-trade support in a line & cable team environment in the construction and maintenance of the transmission and distribution electricity network in a safe, reliable and affordable manner to maintain the integrity of the network.
About you
We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:
- Valid WA ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence to business requirements
- Valid WA ‘’HR’ Licence (minimum) or ‘HC’ Licence (as required)
- High Risk Crane licence class C2 (as a minimum) or C6 (as required)
- High Risk Licence class Forklift (as required)
- Relevant Network Authorisation including Construction industry white card and Basic Emergency Life Support (within the first month of employment)
- Confined Space and Working at heights are desirable
