About this role

This is an exciting opportunity for multiple Mechanical Tradesperson’s at our Kewdale Depot on a Permanent Full-Time basis.

You will be required to repair, service, maintain and undertake project work on Western Power’s heavy vehicle and mobile plant to ensure they are operating safely and maintained to manufacturers and Australian Standards.

About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • Demonstrated industry experience as a Mechanical Tradesperson
  • Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 35 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level
  • Valid WA Driver’s License Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’- endorsed manual (subject to business requirements)
  • Combination of either Hydraulics, Electrics or Welding skills with a demonstrated technical experience/ability to 70 Fleet Competency points above Base Trade level
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer’s Certificate (desirable)
