We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Delivery Specialist, on a 6-month maximum term basis.

This role is based at our brand-new state-of-the-art South Metro Depot in Forrestdale, conveniently located next to Tonkin Highway. Spanning across 120,000 square meters, the depot offers an excellent on-site café, shuttle bus to-and-from the Cockburn Train Station, end of trip facilities including secure bicycle storage and freshening up rooms. About this role

The Operational Maintenance Contract Management & Assurance Area is responsible of the delivery of high-quality Contract Management & Assurance activities, across all internal and external works performed within Operational Maintenance.

This position, will be responsible for:

  • Providing Traffic Management guidance in order to facilitate efficient delivery of the work program.
  • Ensure that work completed is validated in accordance with the contractual conditions and requirements.
  • Providing subject matter guidance on relevant Western Power procedures
  • Ensuring effective relationship management between Western Power and relevant governing bodies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders in an effort to facilitate continual improvement


About you

We are seeking someone with experience and attributes that include:

  • At least 4 to 5 years demonstrated, extensive and broad technical experience in Traffic Management
  • A sound knowledge of networks construction maintenance and operations field practices
  • Very strong communication and written skills, coupled with the ability to influence outcomes, while communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
  • Extensive operational experience with an in-depth knowledge of Western Powers Policies, Procedures, Work Instructions and Legislative requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, strong influencing and organisational skills
  • Highly organised, self-managed and able to prioritise workload to meet required deadlines
  • A strong, caring, positive leader who engages a team, drives, and inspires continual improvement
