At Western Power we are one team with a shared purpose… working towards our vision for a cleaner energy future! We are seeking a Sourcing Specialist to join us at our CBD office on a permanent full-time basis.
Your role
You will be responsible for medium/high risk source to contract activities to achieve the best commercial outcome for Western Power. This includes sourcing strategy development and execution, issuing tenders to the market, reviewing and evaluating tenders, commercial and financial assessment, negotiation, recommendation for award and execution of commercial arrangements.
What you'll bring to the team
- Degree qualified in Procurement, Contract, Business, Finance and/or related discipline and/or suitable demonstrated experience
- Sound knowledge & experience in developing and executing sourcing strategies to generate value, tender management and procurement
- Demonstrated strong knowledge and experience in related legislation and regulations
- Strong understanding of risk and compliance management and its application with respect to procurement
