We currently have an opportunity for a Learning & Development Consultant for a full time 10 month fixed term position, located at our Perth Office.
About the Role:
This role is primarily responsible for the design, development and delivery of learning and development initiatives across multiple pathways contained within Western Power’s L&D Framework. The role is varied with induction coordination, ownership of key management programs and e-Learning making up a large part of the role. The role also involves maintaining and developing strong relationships with external providers and management of internal stakeholders. The design, development and delivery of key courses / programs involves a blend of delivery methods including classroom, virtual and e-Learning.
In this role, you will:
- Design and implement learning programs to develop the skills and behaviours of all employees including our formal leaders.
- Facilitate learning workshops; both in-classroom and virtually.
- Provide oversight of the Corporate Induction program and ensure it’s continually evolving and improving.
- Develop (in conjunction with an external provider) e-learning content that supports the enhancement of foundational WP knowledge.
- Work with other learning and development consultants to support content development across other areas including DEI, leadership development and capability development programs.
- Build relationships with key external stakeholders including relevant panel learning and development providers.
About you:
The successful applicant will be experienced and competent in the following:
- Experience partnering with the business stakeholders to understand training needs at individual, team and functional level
- Demonstrated experience in delivering programs of work efficiently
- Advanced / stakeholder engagement experience and skills
- Strong facilitation skills
- Strong consulting and influencing skills where the interaction with others is primarily concerned with influencing, developing and motivating people and changing behaviour
- Strong coaching skills, to deliver outcomes
- Degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or extensive relevant work experience as above
- Achieved a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE10116)
- Qualifications in Human Resource Management or related discipline is highly regarded
