Embark on a promising career with Western Power’s 2025 Apprenticeship Program and gain national trade qualifications in one of the following disciplines. Over the course of four years, you will receive a blend of hands-on training and classroom education, working alongside experienced professionals on our transmission and distribution electricity networks. We are currently seeking apprentices for the following roles:

 

Lineworker Apprentices in the following locations: 

  • South Metro Depot – Forrestdale

  • Pinjarra

  • Picton

  • Geraldton

  • Koorda

  • Narrogin

  • Northam

 

Cable Jointer Apprentices in the following locations: 

  • Pinjarra

  • South Metro Depot – Forrestdale

 

Electrician Apprentices in the following locations: 

  • Stirling/Balcatta

  • South Metro Depot – Forrestdale

What You Need:

  • Valid WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.

  • Full working rights in Australia.

  • National Police Clearance.

  • Ready to start in February 2025.
