We are seeking a Senior Process Improvement Analyst for a new permanent opportunity to lead the end-to-end design and delivery of strategic initiatives that improve how work gets done—enhancing both operational efficiency and the employee experience.

As a practical, delivery-focused partner, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to unpack complex requirements, using targeted analysis and workshops to translate them into clear, executable work. You’ll ensure process improvements are thoughtfully designed, human-centred, and effectively embedded across the People function and its supporting areas.

Your Role in Action

  • Translate complex requirements and initiatives into clear, actionable work packages and delivery plans, that teams can execute with confidence.
  • Design and facilitate collaborative workshops that break down challenges, simplify processes, and foster alignment across diverse stakeholders.
  • Map, document, and refine end-to-end workflows to create clarity, consistency, and measurable improvements across the organisation.
  • Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities, turning insights into practical solutions that drive real impact.
  • Define and clarify roles, responsibilities, and accountability to ensure process changes are well-owned and sustainable.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships, ensuring initiatives are aligned with organisational priorities and standards.
  • Embed compliance, governance, and operational standards seamlessly into processes, protecting data and maintaining organisational integrity.
  • Support implementation and adoption of new ways of working, coaching teams to embrace improvements that are practical, sustainable, and beneficial for all.

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear outcomes, roadmaps, and actionable plans.
  • Skilled in facilitating discussions, solving problems, and guiding teams to practical, effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with Human-Centred Design (HCD) or Agile methodologies is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading process mapping, optimisation, and continuous improvement across diverse teams or disciplines.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands with resilience.
  • Natural collaborator and influencer, able to align stakeholders, build commitment, and drive agreed outcomes.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Project Management, or a related field, complemented by a “can-do” attitude and willingness to be hands-on in supporting the delivery team.

By joining Western Power, you will contribute to powering a cleaner energy future. We are dedicated to fostering career development and promoting a healthy work-life balance, empowering you to drive innovation as we develop a network that will serve the Western Australian community for generations. You will also benefit from a range of perks and opportunities, including:

  • Over 50% of our employment opportunities are driven by career progression.
  • Flexible work arrangements to support part time work, working hours and working from home arrangements.
  • The opportunity to purchase up to four weeks of additional leave per year.
  • Access to salary packaging, social club activities, and discounted health insurance and gym membership.
  • An award-winning employee recognition and benefits programme.
  • An innovative team culture that’s enabling the transition to renewable energy and decarbonisation.
  • In addition to standard leave, enjoy three wellness leave days each year.
  • 22 weeks paid parental leave and 5 days of First Nations cultural leave to support family and cultural connections.
