About the opportunity
Westgold is expanding its operations in 2025, creating exciting opportunities for aspiring mining professionals. To support our progress, we are on the lookout for Expressions of Interest for a Site Administrator to join our Team.
The role includes:
- Manage and update work schedules and rosters for employees working on-site, ensuring adequate staffing levels for all shifts
- Maintain records of all operational and personnel-related activities, ensuring all documentation is up to date and compliant with company policies and regulations
- Mobilise employees, ensuring site clearance, training, and compliance checks are completed
- Coordinate and manage travel logistics, including flights, buses, and accommodation
- Ensure that employees are provided with the necessary travel documents and itineraries, with detailed record keeping across multiple sites and systems
- Serve as the main point of contact between workers, management, and ensure effective communication between the site-office and main Office
- Collaborate with Payroll to ensure that workers are paid correctly and on time, considering FIFO schedules and overtime
- Provide regular reports to management on workforce levels, accommodation status, safety incidents, and any operational issues
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure deadlines are met
- Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information and data integrity
- Manage and organise data with attention to detail, including filing and record-keeping
- Perform other administrative tasks as required on an ad-hoc basis.
What do I need?
- Manual Driver's licence (Required)
- National Police Clearance (issued within 12 months)
- Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Western Australia
The successful candidate will have:
- The ability to commit to rostered remote work
- The right to work in a permanent role in Australia
- Over1+years' of administrative experience in a FIFO mining environment, with a preference for underground (UG) mining experience
- Relevant background in a similar administrative role or data processing
- Strong technical proficiency across various systems
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, ensuring no resources are wasted
- Capable of analysing issues, solving problems, and making decisions in a logical and efficient manner
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- MS Office knowledge, Proficient in Excel and MS word should be intermediate to advanced

- Ability to work autonomously
