THE ROLE

Support production by ensuring the safe and reliable operation, maintenance, and long-term integrity of the following:

Water extraction and distribution networks, inclusive of open pit dewatering

Power distribution and auxiliary generation

Building and facilities infrastructure maintenance

Communication networks

Vehicle wash down facilities and oily water separators

Sewage facilities and infrastructure

Fuel Systems

Minor capital works and improvements

Identify and diagnose items of the plant that require preventative maintenance or repair

Actively manage maintenance planning activities and the Electrical team

Report to the Maintenance Superintendent on the status of key projects and day to day activities

Maintain detailed maintenance history in Pronto our computerised maintenance management system (CMMS)

Play a key role as part of the management team in the implementation of a positive, safe and productive culture in the workplace

Work collaboratively with your team to develop and maintain efficient and productive maintenance processes across the plant

Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead by example

Be visible and provide mentoring and leadership to your teams

Actively promote a high level of safety awareness, lead from the front and by example

Liaising with Contractors and Stakeholders as required


WHAT DO I NEED

Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role effectively leading and managing an Electrical team

Electrical Trade Qualification

Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence

Electrical Inhouse Nominee Licence issued by Electrical Licensing Board

High Voltage accreditation (HV Switching)

First Aid/CPR/LVR

Forklift Licence (desirable)

Confined Space Ticket (desirable)

Working at Heights Ticket (desirable)

Shut down planning and managing experience

Sound working knowledge of processing plants – crushing, milling, gravity, leaching, and reagent circuits; and associated infrastructure

Have a comprehensive understanding of maintenance practices and procedures, with the ability to enforce them

Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) such as Pronto (desirable)

Proficient Microsoft office skills

Proven leadership skills

Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks

Solid communication skills, with the ability to build strong, collaborative, and successful working relationships with your team

A can-do, team-oriented attitude

Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment

Experience in submitting Capital Expenditure Requests (CER’s)
