Due to recent growth across the business, we are now looking to employ Experienced Underground Bogger Operators to join either our Big Bell or Starlight Mining Operations on a 2:1 roster on a permanent full-time basis.
THE WESTGOLD OFFER
- A permanent full-time position at a successful gold producer

THE ROLE
- Bog level and decline development headings
- Operate machines to achieve the required production levels.
- Tele-remote bogging
- Transferring materials to stope piles and loading trucks
- Communicate effectively with their colleagues, including mine supervisors, geologists and other machinery operators
- Be organised and undertake all assigned tasks by the Shift Supervisor
- Possess excellent housekeeping standards to ensure machinery is kept clean and tidy
- Be familiar and comply with all Company Procedures, Guidelines and Work Methods applicable to your role
WHAT DO I NEED
- Current C Class Western Australian driver’s licence
- National police clearance issued within 12 months or able to obtain, that is suitable for the gold industry
- Minimum of 3 years experience working as a Bogger Operator in an underground mining environment
- Knowledge and understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act & Regulations
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
- Desire to maintain a proactive safe working environment
- Reasonable computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
- Solid problem-solving skills, with the ability to think on your feet and be adaptable
- Excellent communication skills
- A can-do, team-oriented attitude
Candidates must meet our pre-employment criteria’s which includes medical and drug and alcohol screening, relevant right to work checks and be able to provide a valid Australian national police clearance (or be able to obtain).
