THE ROLE
- Perform daily pre-start checks in the stores area
- Inventory item re-ordering
- Processing of Rotable / Repairable type items to ensure prompt return to Inventory
- Issuing of physical items (including back orders) in a time efficient manner
- Conducting of stocktaking counts to agreed cyclic count schedules
- Perform bulk commodity dips and measures to agreed schedules
- Place replenishment purchase orders and ensure timely deliveries
- Accurate data processing of:
- Issues
- Receipts
- Stocktaking
- Inventory Records
- Timely data entry supporting regular updates of Integrated Business System records
- Communicate other events or issues that may affect Supply services or PDAP business performance
- Ensure that stores materials handling equipment has daily pre-start checks, is regularly maintained, and kept clean
- Documentation filing and storage is performed to procedure promoting effective retrieval methods supporting regulatory storage periods (e.g. 7 years)
WHAT DO I NEED
- Current “C” Class Manual Western Australian driver’s licence
- Experienced in a Warehousing role within the Mining industry (required)
- High Risk LF (Forklift Licence)
- Storage, Handling and Transportation of Dangerous Goods Certificate (preferred)
- IT (Integrated Tool Carrier) experience or ticket (desirable)
- Warehousing Certificate (desirable)
- Understanding of Load Restraint and Chain of Responsibility (desirable)
- Proficient computer skills & literacy, particularly across the MS Office suite
- Experience with an ERP such as Pronto
- Knowledge of WHS Legislation and Understanding of Dangerous Goods Legislation
- Knowledge of stock storage requirements and industry products relevant to gold mining
- You’re energetic, self-motivated and a team-oriented individual with a can-do attitude
- Excellent communication skills, integrity, and ethical behaviour along with values that are aligned to the company’s core values
- Possess a solid work ethic and strong desire to do things safely and efficiently
- An adaptable, flexible and organised problem solver who can be both reactive and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
