Reporting into the Parts Supervisor, the Storeperson will be based at our Newman branch in a part time fixed term capacity. The Storeperson will be responsible for carrying out accurate and efficient parts interpreting, picking, packing and despatch of customer parts orders with the primary objective of providing customers with the best service possible. This is a residential based role.
About Newman
Our Newman team provide Cat machinery solutions to suit any earthmoving business including both new and used equipment sales, heavy equipment rental, as well as parts, servicing and merchandise.
Roster: Monday to Friday – 6.5 hr/day (inclusive of meal break) – 6-month fixed term
What You’ll Do:
- General Warehousing duties
- Picking/Packing & Processing Customer Order data
- Forklift Operations
- Assisting customers
Skills & Experience:
- High Risk Work Licence – Forklift is essential
- Warehouse Management systems (SAP, DBS or similar)
- Previous experience working in a similar warehouse environment or parts interpreting.
- Positive attitude with great attention to detail
- Computer literacy - inclusive of MS Suite – with effective communication skills
- Customer Service skills
