WesTrac are looking for a motivated Heavy-Duty Diesel Mechanics to join our expanding Workshop Team based at our Murrin Murrin Workshop
Reporting to the Workshop supervisor the successful applicant will complete rebuilds and component change outs on Caterpillar heavy earthmoving equipment. The variety of equipment includes D10T Dozers, 992K Wheel Loaders, 16M Graders and a wide range of models of Off Highway Trucks (785C - 785D). This work will be completed in a collaborative, team environment with a strong focus on safety.
This roster will be FIFO from Perth 7 days on, 7 nights on, 7 days off - 12 hours shifts.
To be successful the following is required:
- Australian-recognised Heavy-Duty Trade Certificate with post trade experience.
- Familiar with CAT or Komatsu products
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
- Heavy equipment product knowledge - Component change out experience seen as advantageous.
- Be well aligned and exhibit WesTrac’s SPARC values of Safety, Pride, Accountability, Respect and Customer.
