MARKETING SPECIALIST – Newcastle
About the role
We have a unique opportunity for a data-driven Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing & Customer Experience Department at our state-of-the-art facility in Tomago, just outside Newcastle as our preference, although we would be flexible if the perfect candidate is in Sydney and based at our Casula Branch.
In this position you will deliver targeted digital content aligned with our campaigns and online tactics to deliver customers a personalised experience.
Working with best-in-class digital programs to develop new prospects and nurture them through our customer lifecycle - from unknown prospect to fanatically loyal customer. You’ll be responsible to see the strategy end-to-end from design and implementation, to reporting and next-step planning.
The position is part of the Digital Experience Team but will closely collaborate with the Go-To-Market team and other internal business units.

This position will be available on a permanent full-time basis, working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign execution using your insight to optimise customer journeys
- Run A/B tests for email campaigns and landing pages to optimize performance
- Analyse automation results and develop best procedures for our marketing automation
- Ideate and execute various email marketing campaigns
- Collaborate with team members to work on the design and copy/content
- Identify different segmentation criteria based on audience behaviour, demographic, geographic, psychographic characteristics, etc.
- Transactional customer journeys – i.e. forgot password, haven’t logged in for a while
Skills & Experience
- A highly organised, self-starter with excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Adaptable to new systems
- Experience using marketing technology to engage customers, eg digital marketing, especially email, chat tools.
- Tertiary qualification with Marketing and technology focus or demonstrated prior experience within a Marketing environment
- Resilient nature with an investigative and problem solving mindset
- Sound understanding of data-driven digital experience
- Top-notch verbal and written communication skills
- Team player who thrives on challenges
