About the role
The Warranty Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of warranty and service letter claims, ensuring the maximum recovery of costs from Caterpillar.
Our ideal candidate will have administrative experience and a strong attention to detail to help them succeed in this role. As a Warranty Officer, you will work alongside key stakeholders to ensure all reporting is compliant to reduce risks and ensure cost effective workflow is relevant to the warranty function.
Reporting to the Warranty Manager, this position is based from our state of the art facility in Tomago, just 30 minutes from Newcastle.
This position is available on a full time permanent basis working Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Creating, receiving and registering warranty documents for new machines, used machines, work tools and engines
- Creating quotes for new and used machines
- Management of the warranty helpdesk, parts return process and the service letter distribution list
- Transfer of machine ownership and management of fuel edge rebates
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in processing warranty claims
- Well-developed administrative skills with strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to be assertive in necessary situations
- Developed analytical and problem-solving ability
- Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and conflicting priorities
- Intermediate computer literacy skills (MS Office Suite)
