WesTrac are looking for a motivated Workplace Visits (WPV) Officer to join our Learning & Development team in Guildford, WA.
Reporting to the RTO Manager, the Workplace Visits (WPV) Officer is responsible for visiting apprentices in Regional and Metro WA to analyse and execute apprentice workplace training needs, in line with the requirements of the Department of Training and Workplace Development, and WesTrac policies and procedures.
We are looking for an individual with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with both internal and external clients. This role requires frequent travel in both Regional and Metro WA, as such you must have strong time management skills and be able to make recommendations around the most efficient and cost-effective travel itineraries.
About you:
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in apprentice type programs within similar industries
- Exceptional relationship building skills with the ability to maintain successful relationships
- Some workshop Knowledge would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal), including negotiation and facilitation skills to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Previous exposure working within an RTO or Training environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Suite skills
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced working environment and manage multiple priorities to meet objectives
- Ability to problem solve
- Tertiary qualification in training – TAE40116 or equivalent (Desirable)
- AUR qualification (Desirable)
