About the role
We are seeking an energetic and team orientated Training Co-Ordinator to join our growing Training Institute & Internal RTO (Registered Training Organisation # 50737) located at our Tomago facility.
As a key member of the team, you will be reporting to the RTO Compliance & Quality Supervisor, where you will be actively involved with our customers and undertaking responsibilities in various tasks including - student services associated with safety training enquiries – internal and external enrolments, updating and maintaining our student management system (aXcelerate) while ensuring robust processes and communication is at a high level.
It is essential that you have a can-do attitude, outstanding customer service skills and the ability to complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate effectively with other departments and teams in the business and external customers
- Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely delivery of training programs
- Assist with scheduling of training
- Answering incoming telephone calls, responding to email enquiries
- Efficient and accurate data entry in our student management system (aXcelerate)
- Photocopying, filing, scanning of assessments
- Maintaining the student files and assessments
- Quoting customers of training requirements
- Organising travel arrangements for trainers
- Entering of trainer timesheets
- Raise and receipt purchase orders
- Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working space
- Archiving
- General administration duties
Skills & Experience
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to effectively build and maintain successful working relationships
- High attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to identify continuous improvement initiatives
- Proven time management skills and experience with the ability to manage multiple priorities to meet objectives.
- Excellent communication skills – Interpersonal, written and verbal
- Confident and well spoken
- Proactive approach with an excellent work ethic
- Enjoys working in a team environment with a friendly fast paced team
- Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Dedicated to maintaining safe work practices and environment
- Supportive and "can do" attitude
