WesTrac are looking for an engaging Parts Interpreter to join our team on a 6-month contract / secondment at our Kalgoorlie branch.

Reporting into the Parts Supervisor, The Parts Interpreter is accountable for receiving customer orders for Caterpillar parts and general enquiries via phone, email and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of processing for continued customer loyalty. This role has a strong focus on customer service, as such we are looking for someone who has a positive, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail and quality and compliance skills.

This role attracts a housing allowance for Kalgoorlie residents.

Roster: 9 days on 5 days off 11.5 hours (including meal breaks)

Location: Kalgoorlie

What you’ll do:

• Receive and process customer orders for Caterpillar parts via phone and email
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness in order processing to maintain customer loyalty
• Handle general customer enquiries with a strong focus on customer service
• Maintain high attention to detail and compliance with quality standards
• Foster a positive, can-do attitude in all customer interactions

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent Customer Service skills, with experience within a similar customer service role
• Mechanical aptitude or knowledge of CAT machinery (desirable)
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong skills in the MS Office Suite
• Effective communication skills including written, verbal and interpersonal, active listening, asking appropriate questions, clarifying the issues and expressing oneself clearly
