WGA and LDE are proud to be entering an exciting new chapter together following the recent merger of our two highly regarded businesses. Both organisations share a strong people-first culture, a commitment to technical excellence, and deep roots in the communities in which we operate. Together, the merged WGA–LDE group brings enhanced capability, broader market reach across Australia and New Zealand, and an even stronger platform for sustainable growth.
The LDE team provides considerable local experience, boots-on-the-ground exposure and deep Client relationships while WGA provides exceptional technical capability and depth. With a combined team of over 800 professionals, we offer a rich, diverse and empowered workplace where people are supported to do their best work. We are known for long-standing client relationships, collaborative delivery, and a culture that values learning, respect, dignity, cultural openness and diverse perspectives. This merger represents a unique opportunity to help shape the future of our New Zealand business within a broader trans-Tasman organisation.

With an established footprint and significant opportunity for expansion, this is an exciting time to step into a senior leadership role with real influence.
About you:
- People-focussed leadership background
- Proven experience in a senior business or operational leadership role (Regional Manager or similar), including responsibility for financial, operational and people outcomes, ideally within a consulting engineering or professional services environment
- Strong strategic mindset with demonstrated capability in business growth, market development and client relationship management
- Ability to lead, inspire and integrate multi-disciplinary teams through change, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
- Experience overseeing project delivery and performance across a portfolio of engineering design projects
- Capacity to develop and execute business plans, including budgets, resourcing strategies and office infrastructure planning
- Relevant engineering or design qualifications, with professional accreditation viewed favourably
- A hands-on leadership approach, with the credibility to represent the business across the New Zealand market
